宜蘭縣位於臺灣東北部，東臨太平洋，西接桃園、新竹，北鄰新北，南與花蓮、臺中接壤。全縣面積 2,143 平方公里，地形跨越平原、丘陵與高山，擁有豐富自然與人文景觀。

宜蘭縣共轄有1個縣轄市（宜蘭市）及11個鄉鎮，分別為羅東鎮、蘇澳鎮、頭城鎮、礁溪鄉、壯圍鄉、員山鄉、冬山鄉、五結鄉、三星鄉、大同鄉與南澳鄉。著名景點有蘭陽博物館、太平山森林遊樂區、冬山河親水公園、龜山島及南方澳漁港，展現山海之美與多元文化。

交通方面，國道五號雪山隧道讓宜蘭與北臺灣往來便利，約一小時可達桃園機場或臺北市。縣內農漁業發達，盛產三星蔥、金棗、鴨賞、櫻桃鴨等，並推動觀光產業，發展溫泉休閒、農村體驗與自行車旅遊。

近年更積極營造穆斯林友善環境，吸引國際旅客。結合自然資源與文化底蘊，宜蘭已成為臺灣重要觀光據點與新亮點。

Yilan County, located in northeastern Taiwan, is blessed with a unique geographical setting. Facing the vast Pacific Ocean to the east and bordered by Taoyuan, Hsinchu, New Taipei, Hualien, and Taichung, the county stretches across plains, hills, and high mountains. Covering a total area of 2,143 square kilometers, it is filled with rich natural ecology and diverse cultural landscapes.

The county consists of Yilan City and 11 townships, including Luodong, Su’ao, Toucheng, Jiaoxi, Zhuangwei, Yuanshan, Dongshan, Wujie, Sanxing, Datong, and Nan'ao. Popular attractions such as the Lanyang Museum, Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area, Dongshan River Water Park, Guishan Island, and Nanfang’ao Fishing Port make Yilan a place full of scenic beauty and cultural charm.

Getting to Yilan is fast and convenient. With the National Freeway No. 5 and the Hsuehshan Tunnel, travelers from Taoyuan International Airport or Taipei can reach Yilan in about 1.5 hour. The county is also famous for its agricultural and fishery products, including Sanxing scallions, kumquats, smoked duck, and cherry duck. In addition, Yilan actively develops tourism experiences such as hot spring resorts, rural activities and cycling tours.

In recent years, Yilan has been dedicated to building a Muslim-friendly environment to welcome more international travelers. With its abundant natural resources and deep cultural heritage, this county has become a major tourist destination in Taiwan.
