大里遊客中心為來訪草嶺古道必經之地，館內提供了豐富的旅遊資訊及人文史蹟介紹，旅客可透過知性與感性的解說導覽服務，對完整的東北角及宜蘭地區遊覽動線有更深層的認識。遊客中心裡還有一間可容納八十人的多媒體放映室，自上午十點至下午四點，每個整點將輪播介紹影片，全年無休，開放團體旅客事先預約。在服務中心的入口廣場還有一座仿草嶺古道上的虎字碑拓碑區，歡迎到此享受親手拓碑的體驗和樂趣，而停車場上則有何應欽將軍親筆所題的「蘭陽第一勝景」的大石。

 

Dali Visitor Center provides a wide range of travel info, introduction and informative guided tours of Northeast and Yilan coast. At the center’s plaza, there is a replica of the ancient inscription of Caoling Historic Trail that denotes the word "tiger".Visitors are welcomed to experience the rubbings of the inscription here.
